Ocean & Sky Collection

The Southern California coast is endlessly photogenic and endlessly photographed — the challenge with a series like this is finding compositions and moments that feel like yours, not like every other coastal landscape in the feed. This collection focuses on the relationship between ocean and sky: how they interact at the horizon, how light moves between them, and how conditions shift minute to minute.

Long exposures were used selectively to render water as texture rather than detail, creating images with a meditative quality that contrasts with the dynamic conditions that were often present during the shoots. The series is available as fine art prints in limited editions.
